  • Gulliver’s Travels

Held hostage by her dolls, a girl is forced into a showdown between good and evil in this offbeat stop-motion film. Originally made for LA Flicker’s “Attack of the 50 Foot Reels” (one roll of Super 8 film, edited in camera, sound created without seeing the footage).

  • Critical Mass

Shot on Super 8 and blown-up to 16mm for a dreamlike effect, “Critical Mass” is a strange, poetic vision of childhood. From its first vision sequence to its consequential conclusion, the film follows one boy’s wanderings, both internal and external, as he tries to make sense of his world. • Farewell

An elegy for my Jamaican grandfather, who lived for 98 years. Culled from hand-processed Super 8 memories and Kodachrome images of the heavens, family photographs, and an audio recording of his sweet voice discussing the secret of his long, healthy life, the film bids goodbye to an amazing soul.

  • nine + 20

An extremely simple portrait of one of the most humble and deeply spirited people I’ve ever known. Trained in Ireland as a welder, Michael Dolan preferred dancing so he dropped the torch, put on a black suit and began performing internationally with LaLaLa Human Steps. He is now a member of the Volksopera in Vienna.

  • Zombie Business

Zombie business is unleashed as the “invisible hand” of voodoo economics produces disposible people. Shot in Super 8, the film evokes the silent era, while also mixing B-movie horror, experimental cinema and political satire.

  • decisions

A claustrophobic examination of constraint and the pressurized atmosphere of imminent resolution.

  • december

One woman’s journey into herself and an embrace of her life.

  • Sisters

A personal reflection on sisterhood, “Sisters” is a passage of time filled with memories and reflections, giving sense to the bond that sisters have.

  • sIgh

“sIgh” is a film about the memory of love, or so-called love, and the search for what is expected and what is to be. In essence it is a film about the fairytale myth; it is a search for the truth in relationships.

  • Make Me Smile

Meet Daddy K, a dancin’ queen with a sparkling eye and a shaking booty. It would take a pretty tough guy to resist this charmer. Romeo might be just that strong – tune in and find out. Cruising has never looked this good.
